In late 2025, DRUiD’s senior leadership team participated in the Sweden–Scotland Health Exchange in Stockholm, joining an inspiring cohort of healthcare innovators from both countries.
This high-level exchange brought together clinicians, hospital innovation teams, healthtech companies, and policymakers from across the Nordic and Scottish ecosystems.
The key theme: how to adopt and scale innovation in healthcare. While Sweden excels in implementing new solutions with precision, Scotland’s structured and strategic approach to innovation adoption resonated strongly.
The shared ambition is clear—deliver better outcomes, build more resilient systems, and accelerate sustainable healthcare innovation.
For DRUiD, the exchange offered:
A platform to build strategic Nordic partnerships
Insight into structured innovation pathways in Sweden
A strengthened alignment with Scotland’s health innovation strategy and the Chief Scientist Office (CSO)
These relationships are critical as we transition from pilot studies to scalable real-world impact.
We were proud to travel alongside other outstanding Scottish healthtech innovators including Dxcover and EKORA, showcasing the strength of Scotland’s life sciences and digital health sectors.
We’re grateful to the organisers and partners who made this exchange possible, including Swecare, Scottish Development International, the Scottish Government Nordic Office, the British Embassy in Stockholm, and the Chief Scientist Office.
Special thanks also go to the many clinicians, innovation leaders, and hosts who shared their time, insights, and energy throughout the exchange.
DRUiD remains committed to building global partnerships that accelerate our mission: delivering meaningful diagnostics that improve lives—at home and internationally.
