In February 2025, DRUiD participated in the international AMR conference in Basel, Switzerland, as part of the Innovate UK Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP).
This event brought together researchers, companies, policymakers, and funders to address the escalating global threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). DRUiD’s attendance provided a platform to share early findings from our UTI AMR diagnostic, engage with international stakeholders, and explore potential research and commercial partnerships.
As AMR becomes one of the most urgent public health challenges globally, our diagnostic solutions aim to support faster, more precise treatment decisions—reducing unnecessary antibiotic use and improving patient outcomes.
We were thrilled that DRUiD was selected for the Innovate UK Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP) in Switzerland!
We’re advancing our One Health approach to UTI antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) through community-based diagnostics, tackling the critical challenge of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
A big thank you to Innovate UK for this opportunity and to the inspiring cohort of innovators driving impactful solutions.
